According to Section 1073.1 of the Pennsylvania School Code, superintendents must be evaluated via an annual performance review using object performance standards.

At the September 8, 2025 meeting of the Tussey Mountain School Board of Directors the board determined a rating of proficient for Superintendent Dr. Jerry Shoemake for the 2024-2025 school year.
