FALL FOLIAGE FESTIVAL
DEADLINE: APRIL 5, 2019
(6) $1,000.00 scholarships to graduating seniors from Bedford County Schools who have been accepted to a college, university, or technical school with plans to further their education. Applications are available in the Guidance Office.

WESTERN PA APPRENTICESHIP & TRAINING PROGRAMS
Information is available in the Guidance Office on the following programs:
     Western PA Laborers’ Joint Apprenticeship and Training Program
     Western PA Operating Engineers Joint Apprenticeship & Training

EPILEPSY ASSOCIATION OF WESTERN AND CENTRAL PA
DEADLINE:  March 16, 2019
Graduating senior diagnosed with epilepsy / seizure disorder who is going on to a post secondary school.  Information is available in the Guidance Office. 

MCCAVITT SCHOLARSHIP
DEADLINE: April 12, 2019
Graduating senior having completed all 4 years at TM and has accepted full time enrollment in an accredited college or university.  Preference will be given for need of financial assistance, strong educational motivation and a desire to contribute knowledge in service-oriented areas of study such as education, nursing, law enforcement, medical research or social work.  Applications are available in the Guidance Office.  

DR ROY HOFFMAN SCHOLARSHIP
DEADLINE: March 31, 2019
Graduating senior who is a resident of Bedford or Fulton Counties.  (S)he must maintain a 2.5GPA and be admitted to a vocational-technical school or a two- or four- year college or university.  Preference is given to students of family farms.  Information is available in the Guidance Office. 

SAMUEL BRUMBAUGH / TMSDEF SCHOLARSHIP
DEADLINE:  April 5, 2019
TM graduating senior with a grade average, at the beginning of senior year, of at least a 3.0. Student must have participated in same inter-district athletic sport or extra-curricular activity during at least two school calendar years (Not necessarily to have “lettered”, “starred” or “started”, but must have been on the roster and participated in some manner for the entire season). Student must be accepted for registration into a 2 or 4 year, public PA (or bordering state) accredited institution of higher education to major or minor in a computer, mathematics, or science field of study. Preference to applicants stating intention to complete a 4-year degree program. Submission of a 400-500 word essay summarizing qualifications, rationale for choosing selected field of study, financial need and long term career goals. HERMINE SOLT STUDENT SCHOLARSHIP
DEADLINE:
March 1, 2019
Graduating senior who has been accepted at an approved 2 or 4 year secondary institution, college or university with goal of a career in any of the following: Accounting, Business Admin, Business Communications, Business Management, International Business, Entrepreneurship, Finance, Marketing, Computer/Technology or Secretarial/Admin Assistant. Information, including complete criteria, available in the Guidance Office. 

HEALTHCARE SCHOLARSHIPS
DEADLINE:  February 15, 2019
Any student pursuing a degree in healthcare.   Information is available in the Guidance Office.

POINTE-PEST CONTROL
DEADLINE:  April 30, 2019

DR RONALD D MCCAHAN MEMORIAL AWARD
DEADLINE:  April 5, 2019
TM high school senior who has resided in the district for grades 9-12, maintained a career grade average of 3.0 and participated in at least two inter-district sports for four consecutive years (9th-12th grades). (S)he must exemplify PRIDE model and be able to show proof of enrollment to a 2- or 4- year accredited institution. Applications are available in the Guidance Office.

ROBERTSDALE LIONS "PAUL D BROWN"MEMORIAL
DEADLINE: April 5, 2019
TM Senior pursuing post-secondary education at a 2-or 4-year accredited institution. Applications are available in the Guidance Office. 

WATSON & BLACK AMERICAN LEGION AUX, UNIT 126
DEADLINE:  April 12, 2019
Award presented annually to a TM senior who is a descendent of a veteran and is pursuing post-secondary education in any field. Applications are available in the Guidance Office.

BUSINESS & PROFESSIONAL WOMEN / PA
DEADLINE:  March 31, 2019
Female student graduating from one of the Bedford County public schools in Spring of 2019 and beginning her college studies with the 2019 fall semester. Applications are available in the Guidance Office.

R.W & B.T FIREFIGHTERS AND EMS MEMORIAL AWARD
DEADLINE:  March 28, 2019
TM Senior who has resided in the district for grades 10-12, has an overall grade average of at least 75%, participates voluntarily in community activities and resides in RW & BT’s first due coverage area. Applications are available in the Guidance Office.

TMEA SCHOLARSHIP
DEADLINE:  March 1, 2019
Applicant must be a TM senior planning a career in Education. Scholarship is based on academic excellence, extra-curricular activities and community service.  Applications are available in the Guidance Office. 

PA AUTOMOTIVE ASSOCIATION
DEADLINE:  March 1, 2019
Applicants need to demonstrate an interest in pursuing a career in automotive technology by being accepted in to an automotive training program and the support of a sponsoring PA new car or truck dealer.  Information is available in the Guidance Office. 

VALLEY RURAL ELECTRIC BRIGHTER FUTURE SCHOLARSHIP
DEADLINE:  April 15, 2019
Applicant must be an active member or dependent of an active member of the Co-op.  (S)he must be attending an accredited post-secondary institution full time for the 2019-2020 academic year.   Applications are available in the Guidance Office. 

EDGAR SNYDER WORDS TO BE HEARD SCHOLARSHIP
DEADLINE:  April 26, 2019
Any high school senior who plants to attend a 2- or 4- year college, university or trade school.  Applicant is required to submit a presentation that discourages underage drinking and driving and / or texting while driving.  Information is available in the Guidance Office.   

FIRST COMMONWEALTH BANK SCHOLARSHIP
DEADLINE:  March 1, 2019
Graduating senior attending a college or university who has at least a 3.0 GPA and resides in Bedford County.   Information is available in the Guidance Office or at http://www.fcbanking.com/scholarship

HEALTH PROFESSIONS SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
DEADLINE:  March 31, 2019
Bedford County residents accepted into a health career program. Must be willing to commit to work at UPMC Bedford for a period of 3 years if scholarship is awarded. THOMAS E BAILEY SCHOLARSHIP

BETSY WEIMERT MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP
DEADLINE:  March 31, 2019
Applicant must have completed 3 years on the TM JV / Varsity Girls Basketball Team and been accepted to a state accredited university or college. Applications are available in the Guidance Office.

THE SALON PROFESSIONAL ACADEMY
DEADLINE:  April 1, 2019
Scholarship must be used toward tuition at the Salon Professional Academy.  Applications are available in the Guidance Office.

RAYSTOWN BRETHERN CHURCH COMMUNITY SERVICE AWARD
DEADLINE:  May 10, 2019
Presented to a TM senior who demonstrates a willingness to improve community enhancement efforts by volunteering their time and service.  Recipient will be chosen by a committee of Raystown Brethern Church.  Applications are available in the Guidance Office.

YOUTH PHILANTHROPY INTERNSHIP
DEADLINE:  March 8, 2019
Summer internship in Johnstown, PA for recent high school graduates.  Information is available in the Guidance Office.
