FALL FOLIAGE FESTIVAL      DEADLINE: APRIL 5, 2019
(6) $1,000.00 scholarships to graduating seniors from Bedford County Schools who have been accepted to a college, university, or technical school with plans to further their education. Applications are available in the Guidance Office.

WESTERN PA APPRENTICESHIP & TRAINING PROGRAMS
Information is available in the Guidance Office on the following programs:

     Western PA Operating Engineers Joint Apprenticeship & Training

EPILEPSY ASSOCIATION OF WESTERN AND CENTRAL PA
DEADLINE:  March 16, 2019
Graduating senior diagnosed with epilepsy / seizure disorder who is going on to a post secondary school.  Information is available in the Guidance Office. 

MCCAVITT SCHOLARSHIP                         DEADLINE: April 12, 2019
Graduating senior having completed all 4 years at TM and has accepted full time enrollment in an accredited college or university.  Preference will be given for need of financial assistance, strong educational motivation and a desire to contribute knowledge in service-oriented areas of study such as education, nursing, law enforcement, medical research or social work.  Applications are available in the Guidance Office.  

DR ROY HOFFMAN SCHOLARSHIP        DEADLINE: March 31, 2019
Graduating senior who is a resident of Bedford or Fulton Counties.  (S)he must maintain a 2.5GPA and be admitted to a vocational-technical school or a two- or four- year college or university.  Preference is given to students of family farms.  Information is available in the Guidance Office. 

DISTRICT 5 ATHLETIC DIRECTORS SCHOLARSHIP
DEADLINE:  January 31, 2019
Graduating senior who maintains at least a 3.0GPA. (S)he must also have a verified post-secondary education entrance test score (SAT, ACT or other) and have earned at least one (1) varsity letter in a PIAA recognized sport. Applications are available in the Guidance Office.

SAMUEL BRUMBAUGH / TMSDEF SCHOLARSHIP
DEADLINE:  April 5, 2019
TM graduating senior with a grade average, at the beginning of senior year, of at least a 3.0. Student must have participated in same inter-district athletic sport or extra-curricular activity during at least two school calendar years (Not necessarily to have “lettered”, “starred” or “started”, but must have been on the roster and participated in some manner for the entire season). Student must be accepted for registration into a 2 or 4 year, public PA (or bordering state) accredited institution of higher education to major or minor in a computer, mathematics, or science field of study. Preference to applicants stating intention to complete a 4-year degree program. Submission of a 400-500 word essay summarizing qualifications, rationale for choosing selected field of study, financial need and long term career goals.
