9/4 Update on spectators at athletic events
Matt McCahan
Friday, September 04, 2020

Attention Titan Fans:

The Governor and DOH mandate on spectators at athletic events has once again changed.  This change, unfortunately, will still not allow for full attendance.  Schools must still abide by the mandated gathering limits (250 outside and 25 inside).  These numbers include our student-athletes, coaches, officials, and spectators.  For tonight’s scrimmage vs. Portage each player has been issued 2 tickets for a parent or guardian.  Face coverings are required upon entry and social distancing in the bleachers must be maintained.  Masks may be removed once spectators are six feet away.  Members of the same household can sit together without masks.  Spectators without a ticket are prohibited on school property during contests.  These guidelines must be followed or risk the stopping and ultimately forfeiting games due to the presence of spectators on or around the facility.  The Tussey Mountain School District will continue to monitor the situation and adjust our guidelines to best serve our community.  Tonight's scrimmage will not be available on the NFHS network.
