We will be taking applications for the 2011-2012 school year beginning August 1, 2011. Applications are also available at www.tmsd .net.

YOU WILL NEED TO BRING PROOF OF INCOME OR YOUR 9-DIGIT FOOD STAMP/TANF CASE NUMBER! (Case Number does not appear on your card. Please contact your caseworker prior to application days if you do not know your case number.) __________________________________________________________________ Did you know that the National School Lunch Program and School Breakfast Program not only offer free/reduced breakfast and lunch throughout the school year to those students who are eligible, but also provides the school district with necessary funding? The Tussey Mountain School District may also be eligible for additional state and/or federal dollars based on the number of students eligible to participate in the program, which enhances the district’s ability to fund educational programs. Therefore, the free/reduced program can be beneficial to everyone in the school district. CAFETERIA NOTES It is very important that you check your child’s account balance when you receive statements from the cafeteria. Balances due could be an indication that their status is incorrect in the computer system. It is your responsibility to call the Cafeteria Office within 30-days to correct their account. Any charges to student accounts are the responsibility of the parent/ Guardian. Student accounts should always reflect a positive balance. WE OPERATE ON A DEBIT SYSTEM, NOT A CREDIT SYSTEM! Students whose accounts are overdrawn will not receive report cards until balances are paid in full!
